Counseling Ministry
began in 2018 with a desire to both normalize mental health counseling within the Church and also to make it available to those who may find it otherwise cost prohibitive. Counseling provided through Park Alliance's Counseling Ministry is always free of charge.
We believe that complete healing rests in the Hands that created us. There are times when life gets too big and we just need a bit of guidance and support. Other times, we may need to work through grief, childhood trauma, abuse, addiction, or marital issues. We care about you and we are here to help!
Bev Tiner
Our Counselor
Bev Tiner, a Board Certified Biblical Counselor
(not a State-Licensed Mental Health Counselor), leads the counseling ministry at Park Alliance. She has been commissioned by the Church, certified through Light University and is a member in good standing with the American Association of Christian Counselors. Her Biblically-based counseling encompasses general mental health issues, with specialized training in marriage, addiction, childhood abuse, and crisis. Bev‘s calling is to live her life-passage found in Isaiah 61, binding up the brokenhearted and setting captives free in Jesus’ name.
